NBA Preview Post

Whoa. I just realized that the NBA season starts tomorrow. I feel so smart. So without further ado, and on short notice I might add, picks for the season.

Atlantic Division: Boston Celtics should take it this year.

Central Division: Cleveland Cavaliers. Easy pick.

Southeast Division: Orlando Magic, but the Atlanta Hawks might pose a challenge, as will the Washington Wizards. (I hope).

Eastern Conference Finals: Celtics over Cavaliers

That was a tough choice, I know. But it is hard to believe the Magic will make it back to the Finals and the Celtics should win this year.

Northwest Division: I was leaning towards the Denver Nuggets, but decided to go with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Pacific Division: Los Angeles Lakers. Seriously, is there any other choice here?

Southwest Division: San Antonio Spurs. There may be competition from the Dallas Mavericks, but not enough.

Western Conference Finals: Lakers over either Spurs or Mavericks.

This is another obvious pick.

NBA Finals: Lakers over the Celtics. Kobe Bryant and company will win it all again for the second year in a row.

MVP: Lebron James or Kobe Bryant.
